ONTARIO MMA RETURNS

Mixed martial arts returns to London Ontario this Saturday, as Provincial Fighting Championship holds its first event at the Western Fair Agriplex building. This fight card is loaded with local talent, and Kimurawear is very proud to support and sponsor 4 of the fighters on the card.

Jesse Gross

In the co-main event of the evening, Jesse "The Ghost" Gross looks to continue his hot streak and take out the undefeated Michael Karkula of Extreme Couture Toronto. Gross is coming off a unanimous decision win over another top Canadian in Tristan Johnson. If Jesse is able to take out Karkula, he will be one step closer to making it to the big show. Gross is mainly known as an explosive and devastating striker, but showed solid wrestling skills in his last bout against Tristan Johnson. This fight is worthy of its co-main event status, and we look forward to watching Jesse go to war.

Shannon Ludlow

Shannon "The Cannon" Ludlow will be making her professional debut at Provincial Fighting Championship. The London native fights out of the Adrenaline Training Centre, which is where such mma stars as Mark Hominick, Sam Stout, and headlining fighter Chris Horodecki call home. Ludlow has fought once as an amateur and looks to get the same result in her professional debut. Shannon was able to score a third round submission win this past July in Michigan.

Darryl Marin

Darryl Marin is making his professional mma debut at Provincial Fighting Championship, but he is far from a newcomer to the art of fighting. Darryl has competed in over 70 amateur and professional muay thai bouts, nationally and internationally. Marin is also the owner and main instructor at Darkside Muay Thai in Kitchener Ontario. Having top notch stand up skills, would make most think that Darryl is uncomfortable on the ground, but that is not the case. Marin has been working on his ground for quite some time and is ready where ever the fight goes.

Malcolm Gordon

Malcolm Gordon last competed at Substance Cage Combat in Toronto Ontario, where he faced Ahmed Akkar. The ultra explosive flyweight was allover his opponent and was able to set a pace that Ahmed could not keep up. Despite being deep in a triangle choke in the second round, Gordon was able to finish off his opponent with strikes on the ground. After pushing his record to 2-0 at SCC, Malcolm will look to make it three in a row in London.

We look forward to this event and hope for it to be a success for #teamkimurawear as well as the PFC.
