Kimurawear Hits Montreal Canada with a Bang for UFC 97
Kimurawear hit Montreal Canada on April 18, 2009 with a Bang at UFC 97, with three sponsored athletes on this amazing card. The Evening started off with sponsored Athlete Eliot Marshall taking home the victory against the very tough Vinny Magalhaes. The Second fight of the evening with the much anticipated UFC debut for Canada's owe and Kimurawear Sponsored Athlete TJ Grant from Nova Scotia, taking on the Pride veteran Ryo Chonan. After 3 hard fought rounds, TJ brought the Canadian fans to there feet with a victory. That left the main event of the evening, Thales Leites taking on the Spider Anderson Silva. After 5 hard fought rounds, Thales took the hard decision lose to the Spider. Many fans that did not understand the styles both of the great athletes brought to the match, are left questioning the fight. As a fan and friend of Thales we truly understand this warriors heart and determination and we thank Thales for all everything.
